Returns & Exchanges?

We want you to love your Take Up Space gear. If for some reason you don't, we are more than happy to refund or exchange it. Take Up Space accepts returns or exchanges on eligible U.S. orders within 30 days of the original order date. Customers are limited to one (1) exchange per order.

To qualify, items must:

  • Be unworn, unwashed, and unused

  • Be in original condition

  • Include original packaging and tags (if applicable)

  • Be free of odors, pet hair, stains, deodorant marks, or damage

Take Up Space reserves the right to deny any return or exchange that does not meet these requirements. Items that have already been exchanged once are not eligible for additional exchanges.

Shipping costs will not be refunded.

All sales on closeout items are final and will not be refunded or exchanged.


What types of fabrics and materials are used for your apparel?

We work with the lovely folks at The Side Garage in Valley Junction, Iowa. They use the soft ‘just right’ fitting brand Bella Canvas.

  • Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton/polyester

  • Pre-shrunk

  • Retail fit

  • Unisex sizing

  • Cover stitched collar and sleeves

  • Shoulder-to-shoulder taping

  • Side seams

  • Tear away label


Shipping prices?

We’re all about keeping things simple, low cost, and easy. We charge a flat $5 shipping fee for the first item, with $1 extra for each additional item.
